An example of our Travertine floor cleaning service in Cheshire; this floor had been laid around 5 years but other than mopping, hadn’t been professionally cleaned in that time so was in need of some restoring.
We used a low ph floor cleaner in combination with 320 grit honing powder and worked this in with a 50 kilo rotary machine with a soft to medium brush, the honing powder both helps clean and prepares the surface ready for sealing, the slurry was extracted and the floor was rinsed with fresh water, allowed to dry, we then a applied a colour enhancing sealer followed a final machine polish to finish.
