Mrs Hopwood wanted to move the kitchen into the cellar, but as the property is a grade 2 listed building they wanted to keep the original floor. Unfortunately the last owner had used the cellar as a storage room and had painted the floor black to prevent dust. Our challenge was to remove the paint and seal the floor. As the floor was uneven, a lot of the work had to be done on hands and knees. The job took 3 days to complete.
