The customer had attempted to clean this floor themselves and to be fair it didn’t look too bad afterwards, just a bit flat and the colours weren’t coming through, but they didn’t fancy sealing it themselves and they had also read about efflorescence which worried them a bit! So they called us in for our Victorian tile cleaning service in Lancashire.
We gave the floor another good clean with some stripper added to ensure there was no old sealer left on the surface, scrubbed, extracted, rinsed and left to dry, we went back at the end of the day to apply a coat of colour enhancing impregnating sealer to bring out the colours and to prevent any possible efflorescence, the following day we returned and applied 3 coats of our Satin sealer to give protection to the surface, happy customer!
