The customer had recently bought this terraced property and wanted to keep the original Flagstone floor but as you can see it was in very poor condition. Our Flagstone floor cleaning service in Cheshire was requested. First we mopped on a solution of heavy duty floor cleaner in combination with stripper to remove any old sealers, polishes etc we also applied some 220 grit honing powder to add a bit of abrasion to the surface and the grout/mortar lines, this was all worked into the floor with a 50 kilo rotary machine fitted with a medium to stiff scrubbing brush, then black scrubbing pads, hand held machines were used for the edges and corners, the floor was then thoroughly rinsed with fresh water, dried and because the customer didn’t want a sheen we used a penetrating sealer to protect the floor and leave a natural matt finish.
