The customer had recently moved in and one of their projects was to have a new kitchen fitted and to finish the room off his final job was to have the Travertine floor restored back to health.
It was in pretty good condition, just very dirty from previous neglect and the recent building work. A strong mix of cleaning solution combined with floor stripper to remove any old sealers was applied to the floor and scrubbed in using heavy rotary machines with scrubbing brushes, all grout lines edges and corners were then hand cleaned and the whole area rinsed and allowed to dry. The floor was then sealed using a solvent based penetrating sealer.
